Matt Berger's Blog
Author: Matt Berger Created: 5/25/2008 12:39 PM
Matt Berger, a high school student at a Baltimore independent school, lives and breathes local sports. Matt owes much to his father for introducing him to sports during the Orioles' playoff runs of '96 and '97 when he was still very young. While Matt has seen many great local sports moments such as Super Bowl XXXV, Maryland's National Championship in 2002, and was present at Cal Ripken's Hall of Fame Induction, he is angered that a meaningful Orioles game is not part of the list, something that he prays to see soon. A volleyball & basketball player and sports columnist for his school's newspaper, Matt is an adamant fan of University of Maryland sports and follows recruiting regularly. He considers himself the "#1 high-school-age Terps' fan in the entire world", something that he will continue to boast until proven otherwise. His blog will focus on all local sports, stressing high school sports and, of course, the Terps.
