I sound like a message board junkie, but what in the hell is going on with Basketball recruiting at Maryland? I will have to admit that I don’t have subscriptions to Rivals or Scout anymore (I’m working on trade; but unfortunately with so many pro teams out here; recruiting isn’t quite as big of a deal); so I have taken all of my recruiting news from the free stories on Rivals and Scout, as well as Matt Bracken’s outstanding blog and Josh Barr’s blog.

What is the story behind Bobby Maze? Is he definitely not coming to Maryland anymore? Is it an academic issue? Where might he end up?

How much should we be worried about Sean Mosley? Josh Barr seems to be the only writer that continues to discuss Mosley’s academics; but there is clearly an issue. What does he need to do with his SATs and ACTs? Should I be paranoid?

Who is the hell is Tyree Evans? Where did he come from? Whose scholarship is he taking?

How does Ken Bowman fit into any of this?

Is Greivis Vasquez REALLY considering declaring himself for the NBA Draft? Has he seen himself play? I thought we threw this out a while ago? And why would a SGA Presidential Candidate in College Park think that using GV in a commercial helps his cause? Is he really that popular down there? And if he is; why???

Whatever happened to the idea that there might be another player on this team who might consider transferring???

What is the big news that Keith Cavanaugh is reporting on Terrapin Times? (I haven’t talked to Keith in years; but wished I had his e-mail still right now!)

And why did this all just come up over the last few days? This is really freaking me out!

I know I said this would be a full update, but I got sidetracked by the pesky Suns tonight. I will get back to you bloggers I promise.

Let’s see what everyone else has to say….
