If it meant a World Series, do you trade the Future?

July 22, 2015 | James Revere

Hi, Folks. James is back at the helm. As I was looking through the Twitter-sphere today, one tweet from @MasnRoch really caught my eye. The Orioles are apparently listening to offers that include future ace Kevin Gausman. Has the recent disturbing trend of lack of clutch hitting really pushed the front office this far? Last […]

Starting Stable is Sturdy Enough.

July 20, 2014 | James Revere

The trading deadline is a mere few days away. It’s certainly reminiscent of a yard sale except trading of goods is done instead of cash transactions. The Orioles have certainly been active shoppers these past few years, and 2014 seems to be no exception. What we saw with the trade for Scott Feldman last year […]

In The End, Home Cooking Always Wins.

July 14, 2014 | James Revere

Nothing beats Mom’s cooking. No matter what city, or restaurant, nobody will ever get that recipe just right. As one goes out on their own in search of their legacy, most of us always end up coming back close to home. The same can’t usually be said about most professional athletes. Very seldom do we […]

Which Team Should I Root For?

June 21, 2014 | James Revere

According to a recent poll, Baltimore ranks second in terms of “bandwagon” fans. This poll has enough fire power for me to attack it for a week straight. For the time being, I felt it relevant to ask you the reader a simple question, to avoid being a bandwagon type fan, which team should I […]

Release The Secret Weapon

June 14, 2014 | James Revere

The time to panic was about four starts ago. While the gutting out six inning starts in between one inning meltdowns is cute, this is a cause for alarm. Somebody has replaced Chris Tillman with an inaccurate, ineffective, down right bad version of himself. Well maybe it still is him, but this has becoming beyond […]

James Revere

Being born abroad, James Revere had to wait a while before he was thrust into the fanaticism that is Baltimore sports. It was a warm August day in 1990 that first brought his entire family to Memorial Stadium. Upon the first chant of "Mooooooose", as Randy Milligan came to the plate, James knew he had truly found his calling. For the next 24 years, no matter what life would through his way, sports were the only true constant in James's life. Today, you can find James following both flocks of birds (Ravens and Orioles), studying baby reptiles (The Terps), practicing magic (The Wizards), and trying on hats (The Caps). Be it statistically, philosophically, or historically, he's always on the quest for more knowledge and pride about his home teams. Once he gets his degree from Towson University's Mass Communication program, James has his eyes set on dedicating his time to providing in depth coverage of all the teams, to all the folks of Charm City, and of Maryland.
