Baltimore Blast: 12-3 after win against Ambush

Missouri Comets: 9-5 after win against St. Louis

Mike Lookingland Leads the Blast with 31 points. Max Ferdinand (30), Tony Donatelli (29), Aduato Neto (25), Marco Mangione (24), and Lucas Roque (23) also sit among league leaders.

 

2/6 Ambush Game Recap:

The Baltimore Blast defeated St. Louis 12-6 on the road Thursday night. Offensively, Mike Lookingland led the Blast with 6 points, 2 goals and 2 assists. William Vanzela, who has been named to the MISL Team of the week 5 times, recorded 3 saves in the win.

 

Defense Wins Games:

The Blast lead the league in points against with only 75 on the season. Lookingland is third in the league with 27 blocks and Pat Healey is tied for fourth with 24. With strong defense and William Vanzela in goal, the Blast are able to hold opponents to very few scoring chances. Blast goalkeeper William Vanzela is 9-3 on the year. He is first in the league in points against average (5.37) and first in the league in save percentage (.836).  

 

The Competition 2/9:

The Blast take on the Missouri Comets for the second time this season. The Blast defeated the Comets earlier in the season 14-6. The Comets are led offensively by Vahid Assadpour who leads the MISL with 55 points. Forward Leo Gibson also has 50 points on the season as the Comets high powered offense looks to find opportunities against the strong Blast defense. The Comets are coached by Vlatko Andonovski.
