Beyond “The Human Vacuum Cleaner”‘s many charitable endeavors, an e-mailer said this to me about #5.

“There wasn’t an event Brooks wasn’t willing to do to help a local charity. He’d show up at a school, a community meeting or a sporting event to make sure he could help out.”

    I seem to recall when he was inducted into the Ravens Ring of Honor that Michael McCrary was mentioned as one of the most significant charitable athletes in Baltimore sports history.
