Game ov

April 10, 2007 |

Daniel Cabrera gave a very solid performance in his second start of the season for the Orioles. Although the win for the team and Daniel was huge, perhaps the biggest stat of the day will be the zero walks issued out by Daniel, the first time he has done that since June 2005 versus the Tigers.

Next time Chad Durbin is scheduled to pitch against the Orioles at Camden Yards, he may ask for the Tigers to skip him-(0-3, 10.45 ERA at Camden Yards).

Although it is only 7 games into the new season, it’s nice to see how the team rebounded after getting beat up in Minnesota and losing that heart breaker on the walk off HR in New York. I am not getting ready to ask for post season credentials for the team, but I still will stick with my prediction of 81 wins.

Back later to wrap the wild and crazy day that was at Camden Yards and give a little preview into Tuesday night
