I wrote a nifty blog this afternoon that I put the finishing touches on in the bottom of the 8th inning as Mark Teixeira struck out and the Orioles held on to a 2-1 lead at Yankee Stadium.
And then Koji Uehara choked in the bottom of the 9th inning and gave up a game-winning 2-run dinger to Nick Swisher.
So much for the sweep. So much for taking 3-of-3 from the Yankees in New York for the first time since 1986.
It was a helluva blog, too.
Lord have mercy.
Nick F-ing Swisher.
Or, as they call him in the Bronx, “Swishy”.
