Jose Feliciano at OPACY tonight…

July 25, 2007 | Drew Forrester

Evidently he’s serving as the official scorekeeper for tonight’s game.

Did you see the bottom of the first inning tonight, when Carl Crawford and Brendan Harris played “you got it…no I got it…no, you got it…oops”?

Home cooking prevailed and Ramon Hernandez was awarded a hit and 2 RBI’s by official scorekeeper Mark Jacobson, who must have been taking a whiz when the play actually occurred in short left field.

I’ve seen some questionable hit/error calls here at OPACY this year, but this one is by far the worst of ’em all.

This just in:  Jacobson has changed the error on Bill Buckner in Game 6 of the ’86 World Series to a hit…Somewhere, Mookie Wilson is VERY happy to hear that.

“Reporting live from the Camden Yards press box, now disguised as Liam Gallagher of Oasis so I don’t get thrown out…”

BREAKING NEWS:  Raul Casanova just hit a HR for Tampa Bay – Feliciano…err, I mean, Jacobson has charged left fielder Jay Payton with an error after he was unable to make his way into the 19th row to catch the ball.
