Korean right-handed pitcher Suk-min Yoon created a stir on social media Tuesday night after posting a picture of himself wearing an Orioles cap, but there is no indication that an agreement had been reached as of Wednesday morning.

The 27-year-old is a former Most Valuable Player of the Korea Baseball Organization and remains of interest to the Orioles and several other clubs, according to reports. Baltimore has been regarded as a favorite to land Yoon, according to at least one Korean media outlet.

Despite dealing with a shoulder injury last season, Yoon is viewed as one of the top pitchers in South Korea and has spent the past nine years pitching for the Kia Tigers.

Yoon worked out for the Orioles in southern California earlier this winter, and the organization has remained in touch with his agent, Scott Boras.
