The Orioles have signed outfielder Quintin Berry to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 29-year-old has two years of major league experience with Detroit and Boston and is a .258 hitter in 330 career plate appearances. Including the postseason, Berry is 29-for-29 stealing bases.
A high-school teammate of Adam Jones, Berry has a career .353 on-base percentage in eight minor league seasons. He has also spent time with Philadelphia, San Diego, the New York Mets, Cincinnati, and Kansas City in his professional career.
