Browns after another Raven, Billick maybe in New York state of mind

January 04, 2009 |

Reports out of Cleveland this evening by way of the Cleveland Plain Dealer is that the Browns have requested and been granted permission to interview George Kokinis, director of pro player personnel of the Ravens for their vacant GM position.

The Brown can interview him, but can not hire him until the Ravens are eliminated from the playoffs.

-Also according to Adam Schefter of NFL.com and NFL Network, Brian Billick’s name has been mentioned with the New York Jetsand that he could be interviewing with them as early as this week. In my opinion, this would be an ideal place for Billick if he wants to get back into coaching.
