With the Ravens scheduled to return to the practice field on Saturday afternoon, head coach John Harbaugh had an alternative activity in mind for his players.

Following meetings earlier in the afternoon, Harbaugh invited comedian and actor Tracy Morgan to entertain his team. A former star of Saturday Night Live and the award-winning comedy 30 Rock, Morgan was in town this weekend for his current standup comedy tour.

“We usually try to have something interesting and entertaining at the end of training camp, and we had Tracy here today,” Harbaugh said. “He entertained the room and had a good message for the players after his performance.”

Following their time with Morgan, players were dismissed for the rest of the day and will return to their Owings Mills facility for practice on Sunday.

It’s not the first time this summer that Harbaugh has canceled a scheduled practice after he took rookies and select veterans to Gettysburg, Pa. for a guided tour of the historic Civil War battlefield during the first week of training camp.
