4:23-Hear from John Harbaugh NOW in the Audio Vault at WNST.net!
4:19-You’ll get a kick out of the beginning of the press conference, as Harbs was particularly critical of Comcast Morning Show host Drew Forrester for “slouching” in his seat. “We wouldn’t let our players sit like that”, the Coach informed Drew.
Good for Coach.
3:42-Some highlights from John Harbaugh:
-“We’re disappointed with the way we played…..they beat us every way you can beat a team.”
-“It starts with me. I’ve got to figure out a way to do my job better.”
-“We’re struggling to figure out a way to win right now.”
-“We’re not as disciplined as we need to be.”
-“Part of it” is a “lack of focus.”
-“We’re not ready to make any kind of an announcement” on kicking situation. “We’re not ready to say (Steve Hauschka)” isn’t going to be a good NFL kicker yet.
-Bengals “didn’t do anything different than what they’ve been doing.”
-Ravens facing “1 game season” against Browns
–“We’ve gotta be better than 4-4” to make playoffs.
-“Right now, I’m not getting the job done.”
-No update on Fabian Washington
-Frank Walker “has a great attitude” despite not being active
-Neck “is a factor” for Ed Reed
-Joe Flacco “wasn’t good enough to win” Sunday
–on chances Lardarius Webb might start: That’s “always a consideration…..he’s playing well.”
-Thought Fabian Washington and Domonique Foxworth played well against Cincinnati
-No update on Haloti Ngata either-deferred to Thursday’s injury report
-Browns are “going to be fresh” Monday night, will be “motivated” by what’s going on in organization
–“I’m disappointed with myself” for making comments about Cowboys in upcoming Eagles book. Harbaugh reached out to Jerry Jones to apologize for comment.
-“Kelly Gregg played well” against Bengals
3:25-Obviously, your broadcast team for Monday Night Football on ESPN will be Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden, and Ron Jaworski. Warren Moon will fill in for Boomer Esiason, joining Marv Albert and Jim Gray on the national radio call on Westwood One.
3:14-This one could be interesting today. John Harbaugh is scheduled to meet with us at 3:45, and something tells me he probably isn’t thrilled to have to do it. There will be plenty of questions lingering from yesterday’s 17-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals; not the least of which will include questions about Fabian Washington’s future, and how far Haloti Ngata was from being able to play. The Ravens now gear up for Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns, and they will have an extra day of practice this week (Saturday) out here at 1 Winning Drive to prepare.
