3:34-Here are some highlights from media availability today:

Ray Lewis:
-Peyton Manning & Tom Brady are “two of the best quarterbacks of the last decade”, but they’re “two different quarterbacks.”
-John Harbaugh successful because he “lays out the plan for you.”
-Ravens “need to finish” better in this game than they did first time they played Colts
-”I don’t think you worry about” past struggles against Indy
-”These opportunities don’t come around a lot.”
-”We don’t care where we play.”

Joe Flacco:
-Says hip “feeling great this week.” When asked if he felt he pain when he throws, he answered “not at all.”
-Feels comfortable because “We’ve played a #1 seed on the road before.”
-Length of drives not as important, but “we wanna put points on the board.”

Greg Mattison:
-Ravens need to have “great red zone defense.”
-It has been “very difficult” to adjust to loss of Fabian Washington & Lardarius Webb
-Terrell Suggs “definitely” has extra burst now that he’s healthy
-Peyton Manning “sees what’s coming” in game “like it’s a video game” for him.

Ed Reed:
-”You gotta take advantage of the oppotunity” to play in the 2nd round of playoffs.
-”I’m hoping we are better” defensively this time than even in solid performance against Colts earlier this season.
-When asked if he had a “funny” story about Peyton Manning’s antics at the line of scrimmage, he responded “there’s nothing funny about me going against Peyton.”
-Said Colts WR Reggie Wayne “like a big brother” to him, despite the fact Ed is the older of the two.
-Wouldn’t talk about story Reggie Wayne told Indianapolis media about Ed killing Reggie’s pet snake when the two were at Miami.

Domonique Foxworth:
-DID have a story involving a snake in college. He was suite mates with EJ Henderson at Maryland, and EJ had a pet snake. The snake went loose for a few days, and Domonique woke up one morning with the snake in his bed.
-”We have a lot of leaders on this team.”
-”The sky was never falling” for the secondary the way some fans/media thought it was

Ray Rice:
-”This is not just another game. You lose, you’re home.”
-Offense shouldn’t be too crazy….”We can’t trick ourselves.”
-”We didn’t wanna play from behind”, so getting off to quick start against Patriots was big.

3:17-Hear from the following NOW in the Audio Vault at WNST.net:

Defensive Coordinator Greg Mattison
QB Joe Flacco
RB Ray Rice
LB Ray Lewis
CB Domonique Foxworth
S Ed Reed

12:27-Todd Heap (back) was out on the Ravens practice field again today, but we didn’t really get to watch him run much of anything during drills. Joe Flacco (hip, quad) appeared again to be less than 100%, but we’re used to that.

Jared Gaither was not on the field during the portion of practice open to the media, there is always a chance it is not injury related.

10:55-Greetings from 1 Winning Drive, where the Baltimore Ravens are in their 2nd day of practice for Saturday’s AFC Divisional Playoff showdown with the Indianapolis Colts at LucasOil Stadium. The Ravens practiced last night, with Todd Heap on the field. If you missed any of our post-practice sound, you can hear from the following in the Audio Vault at WNST.net:

Coach John Harbaugh
OT Michael Oher
WR Mark Clayton
TE Todd Heap
LB Antwan Barnes
CB Chris Carr

Also, Chris Carr and Brendon Ayanbadejo joined Drew Forrester on “The Comcast Morning Show” this morning on AM1570 WNST; You can also hear from them in the Audio Vault.

The Ravens return to the practice field in roughly an hour, and we are scheduled to hear from Greg Mattison, Ray Lewis, Ray Rice, Joe Flacco, Derrick Mason, etc. this afternoon. There should be plenty of extra media attention here today given the fact that the Ravens are one of the last 8 teams standing in the NFL playoffs.

Make sure you follow us on Twitter (@WNST) for the quickest updates.
