1:52-Free agent WR Joey Galloway will apparently work out with the Chiefs later today, per WEEI in Boston via PFT. I had someone here tell me they didn’t necessarily know if Galloway was a good fit.

-Derrick Mason on team’s 3-3 record….”We’re not where we want to be, but we’re not 2-4 or 0-6 or anything like that.”
-Mason also says bye week could only come at a bad time if it were at the end of the season or right at the beginning of the season.
-Mason: “Once we get one win and get this train moving, I think it’s hard to stop us.”
-Dawan Landry: “I think everybody is still confident…..we haven’t executed to the best of our abilities, but we’ll be fine.”
-Kelley Washington on leaving Vikings game with concussion: “I just needed to get the cobwebs out.”
-Michael Oher said he has “nothing but respect” for Jared Allen, and didn’t appear interested in continuing the “beef” that had been started this week.
-Lardarius Webb says he’s “ready” to get more snaps defensively, but also knows he’s still “learning.”
-Jared Gaither says he will “definitely” be ready to return from a neck injury against the Broncos November 1.
-Gaither thought Oher did a “tremendous job” while he was hurt.
-Ray Rice says game more “comfortable” in 2nd season, “has slowed down.”

11:58-Greetings from 1 Winning Drive, where the Ravens are on the practice field and will be available to the media today at 12:30. The bigger story of the day is the 4pm trade deadline. Ozzie Newsome and company are not expected to make any moves before the deadline, but you never know…

One note worth passing along is the word that Joey Galloway has been cut by the New England Patriots, according to WDAE in Tampa Bay via ProFootballTalk.com. The Ravens had been linked to Galloway in trade rumors over the weekend, and he is now available as an unrestricted free agent.
