– So here is your daily Chris McAlister update. Chris is now in Canada according to Coach Harbaugh where he will get another opinion on his knee. I still stick to my opinion that Chris is done for the year.

– Samari Rolle is expected to play this week against the Texans. It will be interesting to see how long Rolle will play on Sunday. The contact  in a game seems to be the last hurdle that he has to cross on his recovery  from his neck surgery. Also be interested to see who the Ravens match Rolle up against. Will he be matched up against Andre Johnson or Kevin Walter ?

-The Ravens have faced some top notch receivers, but there has been more talk about and respect shown to Andre Johnson than almost any of the other receivers the Ravens have faced this season. Although Fabian Washington pointed out that if you get pressure on the quarterback it does not matter how good the wide receivers are.

-Dawan Landry has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Texans.Landry has been out every since he suffered a spinal cord concussion against the Browns.

-The Ravens made a couple of roster moves today : Todd Bouman (QB), and Daren Stone(S,Maine) to the active roster. Placed Anwar Phillips (S) back on the practice squad, and released Ernie Wheelwright (WR).Here is another video of Daren Stone jumping over cars

-Any resemblance of Kyle Boller being a part of the Baltimore Ravens is gone in the locker room. The locker once occupied by Boller is now empty and has been moved into by one of the new members of the Ravens.

-Zac Diles the leading tackler for the Houston Texans, is out for the season after breaking his leg today in practice.

– There was a lot of talk today in the Ravens locker room after the Presidential election last night. You can hear the reaction of Terrell Suggs, Derrick Mason, and John Harbaugh in the audio vault.

– Terrell Suggs was asked about the improvement on the road compared to last year,” I don’t know. It could be the coach. He’s done a good job the night before getting us ready, getting us mentally prepared. I think it’s just the atmosphere around here, around the building. He’s got everybody ready to play.”
