The last of seven Ravens players to be named to the NFL Network’s list of the “Top 100 players of 2012,” defensive tackle Haloti Ngata came in at No. 9 on the list.

In a vote conducted by players around the NFL, Ngata was the third-highest defensive player on the list and the top Baltimore player revealed over the last several weeks. Only Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (No. 5) and Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware (No. 6) were ranked higher on the defensive side of the football.

Named to his third straight Pro Bowl in 2011, Ngata was joined by Terrell Suggs (No. 11), Ed Reed (No. 16), and Ray Lewis (No. 20) on the list as the Baltimore defense was well represented. Offensively, Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice (No. 22), Pro Bowl fullback Vonta Leach (No. 45), and quarterback Joe Flacco (No. 74) were the offensive players who cracked the list for the Ravens.
