Ravens take time after practice for kids

December 26, 2008 |

It was a back to work mentality here at the Ravens facility as the Ravens returned to practice after having yesterday off. Coach Harbaugh said that Willie Anderson and Ray Rice will be game time decisions on Sunday. Speaking with a couple of the players today, there focus was clearly on beating Jacksonville and not worrying about the outcome of the Patriots game.

The Ravens players all took time after practice today to pose for pictures, sign autographs, and just say hello to the kids from the St. Vincent Center this afternoon. Several of the players, coaches, staff, and even owner Steve Bisciotti, were more than willing to take time to spend with these children and help brighten up their day. Joe Flacco made a kids day when he ran out for a pass that Flacco threw to him and then signed the ball for him. That is something that kid will remember I am sure for the rest of his life.

As far as the game goes on Sunday, Coach Harbaugh said regardless of what heppens on Sunday with the Patriots game, the Ravens are going into the game with the mind set that they have to win.
