The Five Plays That Determined The Game: Ravens/Steelers

Ryan Chell’s Plays…

5. Ben Roethlisberger 19 yard scramble on 3rd & 1 (3rd quarter)

Another key conversion for the Steelers on their third quarter drive. Ben being Ben.

4. Antonio Brown 13 yard catch from Ben Roethlisberger (4th quarter)

Kept the final drive going, and Corey Graham had the tackle on the play.

3. Elvis Dumervil/Haloti Ngata sack of Ben Roethlisberger on 3rd & 7 negated by face mask penalty on Dumervil (3rd quarter)

Yes, the field goal still occurred on the drive. But it also gave the Steelers two more minutes to waste.

2. Elvis Dumervil called for unnecessary roughness after Jerricho Cotchery 7 yard catch from Ben Roethlisberger (3rd quarter)

Negated a third-and-long and extended the Steelers 8+ minute drive in the 3Q.

1. Vince Williams recovers Justin Tucker onside kick attempt, Tucker flagged for illegal touching (4th quarter)

Comes down to execution. You can’t be off-side on the play. But it also was John Harbaugh’s way of saying, “I don’t trust my defense to
make a stop.”
