  1. The Armchair QB Says:

Glenn: This is a bad football team right now. We knew coming into the season that the offense would have to “step up” to take up the slack of a decimated defense. And, that was before the injuries to Lewis and Webb! I’ve never considered Cameron to be a good coach and his consistently inconsistent offense confirms that opinion. I’m a big Joe Flacco fan and believe he suffers from being in an offense that analysts have described as “dysfunctional, out-of-sync, predictable and…..inconsistent! How would you expect any QB to perform under those circumstances? Frankly, I think we’re looking at the first losing season in the Harbaugh era. Hopefully, they’ll prove me….wrong!

(Edit from Glenn: Jerry, I’d still be very surprised if they were a losing football team, but if they do not improve offensively on the road there’s no doubt they’re not going to be competing to go to a Super Bowl.)

I never want to see them lose and certainly continue to root for their success. However, if it takes a losing season to get a new OC, then, so be it! I believe Flacco will need a new coordinator to get to that proverbial “next level”…….
