Tucker named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

BRONCOS WR DEMARYIUS THOMAS, JAGUARS LB PAUL POSLUSZNY & RAVENS K JUSTIN TUCKER NAMED AFC PLAYERS OF WEEK 10

Wide receiver DEMARYIUS THOMAS of the Denver Broncos, linebacker PAUL POSLUSZNY of the Jacksonville Jaguars and kicker JUSTIN TUCKER of the Baltimore Ravens are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the 10th week of the 2013 season (November 7, 10-11), the NFL announced today.

SPECIAL TEAMS: K JUSTIN TUCKER, BALTIMORE RAVENS
 Tucker converted both field-goal attempts (36, 46) in the Ravens’ 20-17 overtime win over Cincinnati.
 With 5:27 remaining in overtime, Tucker connected on a game-winning 46-yard field goal to lift the Ravens over
the Bengals.
 Recorded his fifth game-winning field goal since entering the NFL in 2012.
 Registered eight of the Ravens’ 20 points for the game.
 Helped the Ravens improve to 18-6 (.750) in November under head coach JOHN HARBAUGH.
 In his second season from Texas, this is Tucker’s first career Special Teams Player of the Week Award. He is the
first Raven to win Player of the Week honors this season.
 He is the first Baltimore kicker to win Special Teams Player of the Week since MATT STOVER in 2007 (Week 6).
