With comeback win, Ravens avoid crisis…for now

November 01, 2011 | Peter Dilutis

With the second half comeback, all is well in Ravenstown this week.

But how long will that last?

It’s painfully obvious right now that this fanbase is turning into Philadelphia south. The team got booed off the field yet again on Sunday.

So a 5-2 team has played four home games and has gotten booed in half of them? Oh, and they’re 4-0 at home this season.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that in the back of my mind, I worry about how this town and team will react if the Ravens ever hit a rough stretch. I’m not talking about one bad loss on Monday Night Football sandwiched between two wins.

I’m talking about a REAL rough stretch.

We’ve never really witnessed one with these players under John Harbaugh.

How would the fans react? What about the players?

As a Ravens fan and as someone whose quality of life actually somewhat depends on the performance of the team, I am so happy they came back on Sunday. I really am.

But you all know the saying. True character doesn’t really come out until you face adversity.
