15. Bernard Williams, track and field 

A graduate of Carver, Williams became one of Baltimore’s most decorated track and field athletes after he was a part of the gold-winning 400-meter relay team at the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney. This preceded another gold in the 400-meter relay in the 2003 world championships.

Williams also found individual Olympic fame in collecting the silver medal in the 200-meter dash in the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He added another silver medal to his trophy case in the 100-meter dash at the 2001 world championships.

    Another name for consideration would be Larry Surock. Baltimore Native, Patterson High Grad, UB All American and member of the 1952 US Olympic Soccer Team.
    He is in the UB Athletic Hall of Fame and the MD Soccer Hall of Fame.
    He should at least be mentioned with this group.
