1st Shutout In Team History

March 23, 2008 |

With all the sports that were on the TV yesterday what the Baltimore Blast accomplished was kinda overlooked!! Last night the Baltimore Blast beat the Chicago Storm for the third time this season 13-0.

The shutout was the 1st in the Baltimore Blast history. Just after being named the Goalkeeper of the Week in the MISL last week, Blast Goalkeeper Sagu had a perfect game recording 11 saves. The Blast scoring came from Mike Lookingland and Machel Millwood, both scoring 2 goals. Denison Cabral scored his 30th goal of the season in the third quarter giving him 73 points for the season.

The 3rd Place Blast seem to be peeking at the right time of the season. With 4 games left before the playoffs begin the Blast have won 11 of their last 13 games. The Blast will be looking to go deep into the playoffs this year!!
