Loyola is seeded ninth in the tournament after posting a 17-0-1 regular season record and losing 1-0 to Fairfield in the MAAC Championship game. The Greyhounds received a first round bye and will host a NCAA game for the second straight season

UNC Greensboro is a complete surprise to be in this game. The Spartans finished the regular season with a below .500 record and finished seventh in the Southern Conference.
