A Big Win For Stevenson and Salisbury Rolls Again

The #7 Stevenson Men’s Lacrosse Team was up on #2 Gettysburg 10-2 at halftime and ended up with a 16-6 upset victory. Jimmy Dailey had 4 goals and 3 assists in the win. This is a huge win for Coach Cantabene’s team. They have been knocking on the door to be mentioned with the elite teams in division three. This win puts them in the discussion of those teams.

Meanwhile #1 Salisbury dominated Hood College. It was 12-0 at the end of the first quarter and 19-0 at halftime. They showed mercy in the second half as the final was 28-1. The Sea Gulls out shot Hood 68-13 and won the groundball war 74-40. Kylor Berkman led a balanced attack with 4 goals and 2 assists. Sixteen Salisbury players recorded at least one goal and another 6 players recorded assists.

Stevenson travels to Ursinus on Saturday and Salisbury hosts Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday. The two teams meets April 4 in Salisbury.
