A late change of heart: Ravens win today

November 22, 2009 | Drew Forrester

I’m pulling out my one “change your mind before the game” card and using it right now.

The Ravens are winning today.

I’m here, at M&T Bank Stadium, watching players start to trickle out on the field.  It’s a beautiful late-Fall day in Baltimore. Perfect football weather, in fact.

And it just struck me:  Peyton Manning’s not winning here this afternoon.

He’s just not.

I know Baltimore’s secondary isn’t very good.  I know Terrell Suggs is out.  And, yes, I know Manning’s pretty decent.

The Ravens are winning today.

Scratch my 30-21 Indy pick from Friday.

And make it:  Ravens 27 – Colts 20

I’m 7-2 on the year – in terms of picking winners/losers of Ravens games this year.

I think I’ll be 8-2 after today’s game.
