The stars – the ones in the sky that were hit by Yankees’ home runs off of Oriole pitching. More than three. Too many to count.
The geeks – I’m sorry. I’m not just singling out the Oriole pitching staff. Pitchers in the American League don’t bat so they don’t make baserunning blunders. They also normally don’t play in the infield or outfield, therefore they are less likely to make fielding or throwing errors. But they can let the Yankees hit the begeebus out of the ball after they commit other gaffes.
