So the new season is FINALLY upon us. No more talk of players hitting FA. No more talk about OTA’s. No more talk about training camp. Preseason? Done. It’s time for some real, meaningful football!
And to make matters all the more exciting, on September 13th, when we kick off the new season in New Jersey – I’ll be in attendance. Ok, so for anyone else reading this, that’s not very exciting at all. But for me sitting here in my flat/apartment in Scotland, the thought of being inside that stadium in eight days is giving me goosebumps. It’ll be nothing like when I stepped foot inside M and T Bank Stadium last season – nothing will ever compare to that day in terms of my football fandom. But to be there when Flacco opens the season under center, watching Boldin’s first regular season game in purple, man I’m excited.
No plans for an interview with Nestor this year, just a nice holiday with my fiance and plenty of football.
So if any of you happen to see a drunken fan in NJ with a Scottish flag draped over him, come give me a shout and I’ll buy you a beer.
