Big College Lacrosse News

August 12, 2008 |

According to Inside Lacrosse and ESPN’s Quint Kessenich Zach Greer is transferring from Duke to Bryant College in Rhode Island. There he will be reunited with former Blue Devil coach Mike Pressler. He will only be playing one year for Bryant.

Since Bryant is moving from division two to divsion one this season they are ineligible for the NCAA tournament.

This means that one of the best finishers in lacrosse history will finish his college career with no championships.

I guess all of the emotions the Duke players showed for their coach during the rape saga turned out to be true.

This move will also have a huge impact on next season in college lacrosse.
