BLAST CRASHES WAVE TAKES 1-0 LEAD

April 17, 2008 |

The Blast saved their best for last as a seven point outburst in the 4th quarter helped erase an 8-6 Milwaukee lead in game #1 of the MISl semi-final from Baltimore. With less than 2 minutes left Troy Dusosky was ejected and will be suspended for game #2 but will be eligible if there is a Golden Goal Game. The Blast now travel to Milwaukee and must either win the first full length game or should they lose they would need to win in the Golden goal game. A win would advance the Blast to the final in Milwaukee, as predetermined by the MISL, for the TV rights holder Fox Soccer Channel, for the broadcast of the Championship game on Saturday April 26th. Game time is set for 3pm CST this Sunday.
