Charity

December 07, 2009 | WNST Staff

Since its inception in 1998, WNST has always maintained a strong connection to the Baltimore community through charity and goodwill.

The list of events, donations and causes would be almost too extensive to list here.

WNST has generated charitable donations of nearly $500,000 over the past decade, benefiting charities such as the United Way, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Ed Block Courage Awards and various Johns Hopkins children’s causes.

In 2006, WNST made a major initiative through “Free The Birds” to help community associations and bring baseball back to Baltimore.

Our hosts currently participate in various community associations and routinely act as MC’s or guest speakers for civic groups like Ravens Roosts, Ravens Nests and a myriad of youth sports initiatives.
If you’d like to be involved with WNST in a charity endeavor, please email our owner/CEO Nestor Aparicio at nasty@wnst.net
