But in Ogden’s case, it is on a much smaller scale than some of the other gifts Luchs gave to other potential clients. Sometimes, as much as $10,000 passed hands between Luchs and his targets, and now with a lot of controversy surrounding how agents are behaving in the way they sign college athletes as they transition to the NFL, Luchs, who was recently suspended by the NFL Players Associationm has decided to come forth and be the “whistle blower” in this case.

Over the years, there have been many kinds of whistle blowers in many different businesses and industries, and Luchs says that what he did unethically during his time as a player-agent is no different than any other money-making business out there.
