From 1 Winning Drive: Back to work

August 23, 2007 |

The Ravens began their final practice of the week this morning, as they will have a walk thru tomorrow before heading to Washington to play the Redskins.

Making their way back to practice today, (again not sure how much they participate in the team drill’s as we are not allowed to watch), were the following players:
Daniel Wilcox (ankle) who dressed for the first time in over two and a half weeks
Cory Ross (sickness) Cory missed yesterday’s practice but was back today
Haloti Ngata (knee) returned to practice after missing yesterday
P.J. Daniels (hamstring) who has not practiced since tweaking his hamstring in the scrimmage.

I still would be surprised if you see Haloti, Wilcox, or P.J., play during Saturday night’s game.

Still missing from practice were the following players:
Samari Rolle (ankle)
Mark Clayton (ankle)
Steve Edwards (knee)
Dan Cody (knee)*
Mike Smith (shoulder)*
J.O. (toe)*

  • players still on physically unable to perform list

During the offensive lineman drills Jason Brown yelled Redskins while they were doing drills. Not sure what was the exact content of the conversation, but Mike Flynn was busting on Marshal Yanda about not leaving a good enough tip- yes that is the highlight of the morning practice.

Back with more after the media time later this morning.
