From 1 Winning Drive: Injury news, and Bart Scott on Comcast

October 11, 2007 |

Well at least he was out of today’s practice as he was dealing with a stiff back today, but the Ravens do not seem concerned yet that he will not play on Sunday.

Other notes from practice:
-Mike Flynn was out at practice in a sweat suit as practiced ended
-Still no indication as to if Samari Rolle will play or not this Sunday vs the Rams. I do not expect that you will see him on Sunday
-Adam Terry was not at practice today also may be an indication that he will not play on Sunday.
-Derrick Mason was back at practice after missing yesterday’s practice with a stomach illness, or another term if you listen to the Brian Billick clip on the left
-Dan Wilcox was not at practice again; however Todd Heap was back at practice again today as he was yesterday.

The Ravens defense will come in on Sunday facing a banged up Rams team who will be missing as many five starters on the offensive side of the ball. That should give the Ravens defense a little boost of confidence. However, what are you thinking if you are the Rams defense and you see a Ravens offense who has not been very productive at all and will be starting three rookie offensive linemen, two other offensive lineman who have five years of total experience, a QB who is not 100% healthy, a TE who is coming back from a hamstring injury, and a WR group that has been bothered with injuries. Maybe gives St Louis defense some confidence.
