From training camp: The end of the first 2 a day

July 30, 2007 |

The second practice of the day wrapped up with Brian Billick reflecting on his memories of his mentor Bill Walsh who passed away this afternoon.

You can hear the entire interview at the WNST Audio vault.

Mark Clayton did not practice this afternoon, and had his left hand and last two fingers on his left hand wrapped up. There is no official word as to what happened to Mark. Still waiting to hear from the Ravens for an official word on the injury to Mark and how long, if any time that he will miss.

The afternoon practice was not as aggressive since the players were in shells (soft shoulder pads) and shorts. Kyle Boller and Steve McNair made some very impressive throws during the team drills.

You can just tell how comfortable that McNair is this year in the offense than he was a year ago. While this offense may not set any records for points scored, I think it will definitely be a lot more productive.

Back in a few with a final wrap up from day 1 of Ravens training camp.
