Humbled by the 1-8 start…I’ll re-surface tomorrow morning

April 14, 2010 | Drew Forrester

I’m not going to write about the O’s losing to Carlos Pena today, 3-1.

Instead, like the Birds, I’m going to rest tonight and prepare for a whopper-blog-session tomorrow morning where I will offer the club some sage advice on what to do between now and April 27 when they return home to put their 0-6 OPACY mark on the line against the Yankees.

There IS something they can do.

And tomorrow, I’ll blog about it and some of you will appreciate it and some of you, predictably, will find a way to prattle on about how “Drew just keeps piling on…”

Tonight, though, I don’t have the energy to put it all together.

I feel like Brad Bergesen.  Nothing to offer.

Well, I have plenty to offer.

But I’ll let the sting of the humbling 6-game homestand subside and I’ll come out swinging on Thursday morning.

I’ll make Carlos Pena look like a little leaguer when I’m done taking hacks tomorrow.
