I went to my first Mariners game Saturday night, and it will not be my last. I can’t wait for the Championship game. July 25th, 4:00pm at 1st Mariner center. I had a great time, it was affordable, fast, furious and fun.
The Harrisburg Stampede grabbed a 1-0 lead, and it went downhill fast after that. When the final score is 63-15, you tend to forget some of the scoring plays. There are a couple things that jump out.
I challenge anyone to look at Baltimore Mariners starting QB, E.J. Nemeth, and tell me you are looking at a Will Ferrell clone. Then, you add to the fact that half the crowd had cow-bells, man I couldn’t stop laughing.
During the game, I saw anywhere from 5 to 10 people, some kids, come up to the bench and ask for photo’s with E.J. Nemeth. And he gave them. AWESOME!!!! That is very cool.
The Harrisburg Stampede are a bunch of clueless, classless thugs. Every chance they got, they took cheap shots. It was disgraceful. It was like they were made up of a bunch of no talent Hines Wards. Yes, they were THAT classless… Disgusting.
Everywhere we went, staff was kind and helpful and grateful for me to be there. It was like I was in OZ, compared to the last several years of going to Oriole games. I am not joking, the overall attitude of “Thank you” was everywhere. It is a stark reminder of just how far going to OPACY has fallen.
So, buy your tickets and show up on July 25 for the Championship game. It will be a nice way to usher in the Ravens season, and bring your cowbell!!!!!!!!!! Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!
