Just a couple of thoughts

May 07, 2009 |

Again, I must apologize for the lack of posts. Truth be told, I have been writing. A lot. My colleague Dave is working the Cheerleader Calendar Shoot, and the Web site’s head writer Mike just recently got back from a well-deserved vacation. Thus, I’ve been a one-man band writing articles for BaltimoreRavens.com, and thus, the blog tends to suffer as a result.

But anyway, here are some thoughts:

Manny Ramirez being suspended for steroids – disgusting, but not as surprising as perhaps it should be. My apathy level get higher every time a big name gets linked like this. Nothing would surprise me now. And that’s just sad.

Brett Favre potentially going to the Vikings – quite frankly, I’d be more surprised if this didn’t happen at this point. But Favre is tarnishing his legacy by going to his third team in three years, not to mention the archrival of his beloved Packers. If I’m a Green Bay fan, my heart is breaking if he signs in Minnesota.

Lakers/Rockets- Shaping up to be a good series.

Capitals/Penguins – Shaping up to be a very good series.

Ravens minicamps –…..too burnt out on football to comment at the moment.

Another busy weekend lies ahead. But you know what? At least I’m not an accountant.
