Lane Kiffen, a temporary replacment

January 13, 2010 |

After Tennessee gets over the initial shock, they’ll realize, they’re better off without Lane Kiffen in the short and long run, He won seven games Tennessee fans, don’t worry, scramble now and you’ll be blessed, you didn’t deserve this and you will be rewarded. Kiffen, on the other hand, will get his Comeuppance. (never thought I’d use that word in a sentence) How? When Jack Del Rio leaves the Panthers. If Lane has any controversy (which is like saying, “will the sun rise tomorrow morning”) or if Lane, doesn’t win, he’ll be gone. I predict USC will get sanctioned while he’s there and then Del Rio will step in afterwards. I know this blog sounds like I graduated from Tennessee, but i did not. I’m just annoyed that Tennessee stuck there necks out for him, through a lot of drama, and Kiffin thanked them with a machete in his hand. He even had his recruiting guru, Ed Ogreron, tell the football recruits, not to go to school today (their first day of college) because it would be impossible for them to transfer and not have to sit out at least a year. You know what, Tennessee, You guys are very fortunate to have Pat Summit, and Bruce Pearl has been a gem, you guys will get a great coach that will take you farther than Kiffen would have. For the first time in my life, I’ll be rooting for Tennessee, GO VOLS!!
