Robbie Aristodemo, Baltimore Blast
Blast midfielder and team captain Robbie Aristodemo recorded four goals for nine points in Baltimore’s wins over the Omaha Vipers and Milwaukee Wave this weekend. Aristodemo scored one goal in the 14-10 win over the Vipers on Friday before recording his first hat trick of the season in the 20-9 win over the Wave Sunday afternoon. He leads the MISL with two short-handed goals after scoring short-handed goals in both weekend games. Friday’s short-handed goal broke an 8-8 tie and Sunday’s goals gave Baltimore 8-0, 10-4 and 18-4 leads; his third goal on Sunday was a three-point short-handed goal. He ranks eighth on the Blast and tied for 19th in the MISL with 23 points this season.
About the Major Indoor Soccer League
The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has five member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Riot, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets and the Omaha Vipers. The 2010-11 regular season began on November 12 and will end on March 13. The postseason will begin the following week and conclude at the end of the month.
