This is latest from SI.com’s “Tale of the Tape” series. This time they examine which post-winter vacation is a more fun destination… Spring Training v. Spring Break.
I must say, as much as I love baseball, they make Spring Break seem a bit more appealing… except for the ‘Occupational Hazard’. Spring Training’s is ‘Not making the Major League roster,’ which is definitely not as bad as Spring Break’s occupational hazard… STD’s. A couple months of AAA bus rides, is nowhere near as painful as… well, you know.
