New Soccer Rankings Out

With the release of the lastest soccer rankings some teams moved up and some fell out of the rankings.

In Division I Men’s College Soccer the Terps moved up to the #2 position in this week’s national poll. Maryland 5-1-0 moved from #4 to #2. Loyola stayed at #17 with a 6-0-1 record. Maryland stayed #1 in the South region with Towson at 4-2-0 breaking in at #8. Loyola stayed at #1 in the North Atlantic Region with Mt. St. Mary’s at 3-2-1 at #9.

In Division III Men’s College Soccer Salisbury stayed at #17 in the national polls with a 8-0-0 record. Salisbury is also ranked at #3 in the South Region. In the Middle Atlantic Region Johns Hopkins is at #4 with a 6-2-1 record.

In the women’s play, the Division III Johns Hopkins Women are ranked #7 national with a 5-0-2 and are ranked #2 in the Middle Atlantic Region. St. Mary’s is also ranked in the Middle Atlantic Region at #7 with a 4-0-2 record.

CCBC-Essex broke into the Division 1 polls this week in Junior College play at #11 with a 6-1-0 record. In Division 3 Junior College polls this week Montgomery Rockville fell from #3 to #6 with a 6-2-1 record.

As for the Junior College women only Montgomery Rockville is in the lastest polls with a 6-2-1 record. They climbed up from #13 to #3 in this weeks Division 3 polls.

In high school play only the McDonogh girls are national ranked. The McDonogh girls fell from #1 to #2 with a 9-0-0 record. In Region IV ranking McDonogh is ranked #1, River Hill is at #6 with a 3-0-0 record and Archbishop Spalding comes in at #7 with a 6-0-0 record.

On the boys side in the lastest Region IV polls DeMatha Catholic is at #5 with a 7-0-2 record. McDonogh boys are at #7 with a 6-1-0 record, River Hill is at #9 with a 3-0-1 record and Broadneck comes in at #12 with a 3-1-0 record.
