No Football Allowed

First off, I’m not trying to be an apologist for the Ravens. I am also not trying to justify this as the reason why the Ravens lost. However, what i am trying to say is that in the past couple of years the game of football has changed.

The NFL and the game of football has changed, gone are the days when receivers and defensive backs would scuffle down field. Today, If a defensive back even accidentally touches a wide receiver down field it is a pass interference or holding penalty. Also, if that receiver decides to leave his feet and make a diving catch on a ball, well the defensive back pretty much has to let him make the catch. If not the defensive back will get penalized for hitting a defenseless receiver. Its only a matter of time before defensive backs are not going to be able to even jam receivers inside 5 yards from the line of scrimmage. I fear that the NFL will become eerily similar to what the NBA has become.
