No incentive to vote for KOBS

June 27, 2008 | Keith Melchior

As with any major election, if you haven’t voted yet and hear who the projected winner will be well before the polls close, you tend to lose the incentive to vote, right?

I was planning on casting my votes for the KOBS, but upon hearing the ongoing results as the day progresses, I figured why should I even bother.

I would prefer the talk show hosts NOT reveal results while the voting goes on, but just keep encouraging everyone to vote for their favorite, then listen to the results TOMORROW.

I think people would take it more seriously if they are kept in suspense. It makes your vote that much more important if you don’t know who is leading.
