Orioles: “Eaton up” other teams’ cast-offs…

The Orioles today announced they’ve signed another reclamation project, inking veteran RHP Adam Eaton to a minor league contract and an invite to spring training.  Eaton spent the last two years in Philadelphia and hasn’t posted an ERA under 5.00 in the last three years.

Here are Eaton’s career numbers.  He was released by the Phillies on Friday.

The O’s have an abundance of pitchers in spring training, but two of them (Brad Hennessey and Rich Hill) have experienced arm stiffness in the first 10 days of camp.
