As you’re aware, I’ve been deeply involved in helping the Rozema family get their house finished. We’re literally heading to the finish line, and the house WILL be finished by Friday night.
Sadly, Johnny Rozema will not be able to see it. He passed away yesterday morning after a brave battle against Burkitt’s Lymphoma. He was 10 years old. He was a huge sports fan (especially the Ravens). His spirit has touched literally hundreds of people over the past 6 days, people who have opened their hearts to help his final wish become a reality: Finishing his family’s house.
Now we need to help these wonderful people pay down their staggering medical bills. Here’s how you can help: Go into any SunTrust Bank location and tell them you’d like to donate to the John Rozema, Jr. Fund. Or send a donation to SunTrust Bank, 12254 Tullamore Rd., Timonium, Md. 21093. Attention: Cheryl Davis. Thank you in advance on behalf of John, Holly, Emily and Luke Rozema.
You can also go to www.johnnysangels.collectivex.com and register to become one of Johnny’s Angels.
Cancer has touched all of our lives. Family, friends, everyone. The best way to memorialize people like Johnny is to donate your time or money to fund research to beat this terrible disease.
I’m honored to have been associated with so many kind and wonderful people throughout this incredible experience. Johnny has taught us all many lessons through his sickness. The biggest one I’ve learned is that you never realize how much you can give until you try.
God Bless Johnny Rozema.
And God Bless All of You for your kindness and generosity.
