Please help with our Casey Cares fundraiser

April 07, 2008 | Drew Forrester

We’re already off to a great start with “Care For Casey”, our Masters fund-raiser to benefit Baltimore’s Casey Cares Foundation.

Casey Cares is a foundation that assists critically ill children and their families and we’ve adopted them as our charity benefactor for this year’s WNST Charity Golf Outing on May 22 at Mountain Branch.

This week, though, we’re kick-starting our fund-raising efforts by launching “Care For Casey”.  We’re asking for pledges from you for every birdie that Paul Casey makes at this year’s Masters (last year, he made 13 birdies).

Already today on The Comcast Morning Show, we’ve brought in 13 “pledgers”, ranging from $15.00 a birdie to $1 per-birdie.  Any amount helps!

To pledge, please do it via e-mail.  Simply send your pledge per-birdie amount to me at:

We will take all the monies raised as part of “Care for Casey” and put it together with everything we raise in our charity golf outing and present it to Casey Baynes of the Casey Cares Foundation on May 22.

My thanks to all of you who are helping us raise money for this great Baltimore foundation that assists critically ill children and their families.
