Ravens say: Bisciotti well aware of Harbaugh’s decision on Cameron

January 18, 2011 | Drew Forrester

There seems to be some speculation around town that perhaps Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti has yet to “have his say” with regard to the announcement on Monday by John Harbaugh that he will retain his three coordinators, Cam Cameron, Greg Mattison and Jerry Rosburg for the 2011 season.

A high-ranking Ravens official confirmed with me today that Bisciotti has talked regularly with Harbaugh since the season ended on Saturday night and that Harbaugh’s announcement on Monday was made with the owner having complete knowledge of what was going to be discussed with the media.

“Steve is involved in any big decision on a daily basis,” a team source says.  ”John and Steve talk every day.  John would never make a significant announcement at a press conference that Steve doesn’t know about.”

Bisciotti, Harbaugh and GM Ozzie Newsome will meet with the media in Owings Mills this Thursday at 2pm for the team’s annual “state of the team” address.
