Ravens serve first L to Broncos 30-7

November 01, 2009 |

I was having flashbacks of the great defenses we have had today.  Jarret Johnson started it off with a big time sack. This man has been playing at a high level all year. I continue to be very impressed by him. I believe that play set the tone for the whole day.

Here are my grades for the Ravens:

Offense-B
Give credit to Denver’s defense, they held us to under 300 yards offense. Our offense however made big plays and as usual J Flac and Ray Rice were cool under pressure.

Defense-A
Any time you hold a team under 150 yards of Offense you will get an A from me. This squad was energized and finally Pressure on the QB!! And our secondary was coming up and actually hitting people.

Special Teams-A
The Ravens did a nice job containing Royal. Also Lardarius Webb’s 95 yard return was one of the plays of the game. What a way to start a half. Webb has been a great addition to our kickoff return game.

Star Players-  Jarret Johnson, Ray Rice, Lardarius Webb
